The Votes Are In – Your Favourite Spreadable Is…

March 4, 2011

Peanut Butter!

After days of tireless campaigning, peanut butter fans can celebrate the victory of their spreadable. Peanut butter came out on top with nearly 40% of the vote, whilst MORI opinion polls were shattered in their initial prediction of a nutella victory.

OCN blogger Lee said ‘‘I am shocked and surprised to see peanut butter do so well. I fully expected nutella to win this election and I’ll put the loss down to a low voter turnout”.

”Low Turnout”

Just 68 people out of 6bn world population voted accounting for less than one percent (0.0000011333333333333334%).  Political food scientists have argued samples of less than 0.1% of the world’d population are not representative of the world in general and should not be take at face value.

Nonetheless that won’t stop peanut butter fans celebrating, with reports already coming in of fans popping open champagne bottles and sipping away at peanut butter cocktails. The police have warned fans to celebrate peacefully, after one lego fan had to be taken to hospital after ‘severely overdosing ‘ on the spreadable (pictured).

This is simply outrageous! I like peanut butter, but I cannot believe Nutella did not win this contest. Last place with marmalade?!
