Love to Eat or Just a Chore?

May 2, 2011

TV DinnerThe way some people eat you could easily be fooled into thinking that they only do it because they have to. These people are the ones who are never just eating, it’s always a secondary activity to the TV, computer or newspaper. Well done them for multi-tasking, but apparently just eating as a task on its own can help you to lose weight.

When focussing on just the food, you fully taste it and fully realise what you’re eating. When you’re a multi-tasking-eater you can’t be thinking just about the food, and you don’t realise that you’ve just piled through two helpings of spag bol and a tub of Ben and Jerry’s.

Which one are you – the focus foodie or the multi-tasking-muncher?

Day 122 of the food list challenge:

13:00 Cheese and tomato chutney sandwich, bag of chilli sensations, chocolate éclair
15:00 Haribo
18:15 Meatballs and spaghetti
