Canadian Muffin Co Plymouth: REVIEWED

June 22, 2011

Another day, another review; only this time it’s a tiny little Canadian muffin outlet that’s receiving the critical eye of the OCN reviewer.

It’s another café that you might walk past all your life and never venture inside just because you simply miss it. In my opinion that would be a great shame because this little stop off is a great place for a coffee any time of day, and as you might expect, sells an hearty range of muffins for that mid morning snack, lunch or the mid afternoon slump.

Open from 08.30 (sometimes a little earlier) until 17.00, you can expect a relaxing, quaint environment, and a mix of jackets and fillings, a small range of Canadian melts and of course savoury and sweet muffins (£2.00 to eat in). I was with my brother and he said the coffee was good, but he doesn’t normally drink coffee so take from that what you will.

If you’re in Plymouth, I’d say give Starbucks or Costa a miss just once and give this little gem a chance.

Eaten Today:

07.10 Bacon Roll
13.15 Pizza muffin followed by half a white chocolate and toffee muffin
14.00 1 biscuit and 1 marshmallow thing
19.00 Spaghetti Bolognese
