Yo-Yo Apples

Yo-Yo dieting: In this process, the dieter is initially successful in the pursuit of weight loss but is unsuccessful in maintaining the loss long-term and begins to gain the weight back. The dieter then seeks to lose the regained weight, and the cycle begins again.

Yo-Yo Apples: In this process, the person is initially successful in eating apples loads, but is unsuccessful in maintaining the rate of apple consumption. This person is me.

For some reason I go through apple phases. One week I will eat 7, the next I’ll eat none, but it won’t be at all intentional. There are probably loads of things I do exactly the same thing with, but just don’t realise.

The day in food:
8:00 Pain au chocolate
13:20 Cheese and coleslaw sandwich, dairylee dunker, apple, baked crisps
17:40 Kitkat
18:10 Bourbon biscuits
19:20 Spag bol and garlic bread
