Sunday Eating

July 24, 2011

Sunday is always the day where you do nothing, the day of rest as some say. That’s not really the truth for eating though. Sunday is the home of the roast, a meal not often served in small portions.

The roast is a modern day banquet, or as close as we get. Today I had roast pork with carrots, broccoli, potatoes and cauliflower cheese. Then I had a flake yoghurt type desert. All in all that’s a big meal, after eating it you do need a rest…

And the rest of the day in food:
13:00 Crisps and dip
13:40 Fishcake, bread
17:00 Cookie
