Cornwall Holiday – Day 2

August 2, 2011

A hotter day today which led to numerous outdoor activities and, inevitably, on-the-go eating and BBQ.

First, a trip to Padstow (a place nicknamed Padstein for Rick Stein’s apparent take over of the town with his restaurants). Here we set off on the Camel Trail, a 10 mile bike ride. Here I had a cheese and onion pasty from a never-ending choice of pasty shops.

When we got back, all with sore saddle arses, we had BBQ – burgers, sausages, potatoes, pringles, pork kebab, coleslaw, cous cous and salad.

Pictures to follow [iPhone app now working hence pictures below], or if you can’t wait check my twitter – @thills123.

Other eaten items:
Toast, flapjack, toffee biscuits.
