Alternative viewing for an evening

September 13, 2011

Tonight, if you’re not too late (you probably are – it’s on now), you could watch ‘The Great British Bake Off’. I’ve normally watched this on a Sunday morning when I don’t have much better to do [Note: I have many things better to do, but not all that I could do from a sofa, in pyjamas].

Anyway, it’s a bit of an odd programme that you might get a little obsessed with. Half way through there is a weird food-history lesson. Needless to say, that part of the show is pretty dull, and the show livens up considerably when hopeful winners are told their pie tastes like a greasy boot and they cry into their grease-proof paper.

Eaten today:
7:40 Krave
11:00 ‘Moon cake’
13:10 Cous cous, crunchy ginger bar
20:00 stir fry, ice cream
