The Legitimacy of Salad Without Meat

The legitimacy of salad without meat

Today I ate salad. Not just leaves salad but proper salad. Salad created with beans, feta, sweet potato, sweetcorn, nuts, coriander, rocket and the crunch of mange tout. It was a hearty salad too with more than I could manage to finish. But was it legitimate? Was it a meal?

Without the bacon or chicken or beef or ham it really doesn’t feel anything more than a side dish.
