Some Food Blog Research

November 20, 2011
by

It seems like now everyones a food blogger. Whether they’re simply uploading a picture of a cake onto Facebook; a Re-Tweet on Twitter; a recipe onto their Tumblr; a video of a food market on YouTube; or a fully harvested website devoted to food and drink; at any given second thousands of uploads are continuously filling up the web with delicious treats and nuggets.

Some of these blogs are simply exceptional good and during our year of blogging I’ve certainly bookmarked a few favourites, but as this experiment comes to an end, I’ve started thinking, what is it that makes a really good food blog and why are we all talking about food?

I’ve got my own thoughts on this, but I’d really like to explore some other people’s views so before I dive a little deeper into this question, I’d love to hear what you think…

Food blogs?

What are the first three things that comes to mind when you think of food blogs?
When do you read them?
Why do you read them?

Your Favourite Blogs

Which are your favourite food blogs?
Why are those blogs your favourite and which are your favourite parts of their blog?
If you had to select one feature of a food blog as your favourite which would it be?
What are your least favourite parts of food blogs?
What are some other blogs you like?

One Chicken Nugget

Which are your favourite and least favourite parts of One Chicken Nugget?

That’s all for now. If you could spend 10 minutes answering any parts of these questions I’d be really interested to hear your thoughts! Please just comment in the box below with your responses.

Thanks! Lee
