Cloven Hoofed Onions

December 24, 2011

You’re all waiting for the Cologne mega-post, I know. Lee may be doing one tonight, I may do one tomorrow, but I think that probably won’t be the case as it’s Christmas day.

Christmas is surrounded by food traditions, my mums being the production of Christmas lunch following the guidelines printed in a Delia cookbook from 1990. This involves making bread sauce with onions and cloves, which looks something like this. I call it cloven hoofed onion.

Eaten today:

13:00 Crisps, cheese and coleslaw sandwich, double decker
19:10 Pizza, coleslaw, wedges, milk tray (x2)(not two trays, two chocolates)
